PSP members in their first year of piloting undergo training on high-tech marine simulators to hone and advance their piloting skills. By utilizing simulators early in their career, pilots can test and develop their ship handling skills under a wide variety of weather and traffic conditions. Lessons learned at these simulator sessions can guide the newer pilots as they refine their skills over their first years of license restricted activity.
